    Hello everyone,
I was told that if you convert an iso file, which has not very good video quality, to divx then back to iso and then burn it with Nero the quality would greatly improve. Anyone familiar with this? If so then how do you convert from iso to divx then back to iso? Thanks for any input on this. I burned the Brothers Grimm in iso and the video quality is less than ideal.

no, that is not true. If you want a better picture, make a better iso file. Maybe you are compressing the image too much, or not taking out all the extras.

The basic rule is, everytime you convert, you loose a little quality.
Not to mention the TIME it would take you to do it.

    Hi ugc,
O.K. I agree with you that everytime you convert you will lose some quality. Since I am a newbie at this would you please share some instruction on how to "make a better iso file"? Thanks for your guidance.

If the file came in ISO form then it is in ISO form no need to make it better. An ISO is just an image file of whatever it is your gonna burn to disc.
