DVD player is cutting off the shows..Help!!

    So I downloaded some episodes of a tv show i like, and I put episodes 1-13 on a DVD-r--the brand is TDK. I can view all 13 episodes on my computer when I pop in the dvd, but when I try to watch it on my dvd player, only 1-8 shows. It's strange because the dvd player does not cut off episode 8...it shows the whole thing, as if the dvd only consisted of 8 episodes. Anyone else having this problem?

    your problem may be due to poor media try a diferent brand

    maybe...what would you recommend? I'm thinking about returning the dvd-r's and buying some Sony ones. Are Sony dvdrs reliable?

    If you want quality discs I would recommend Taiyo Yudens, Verbatims, Maxells (MIJ - made in japan), Sonys (MIJ) and Fuji (MIJ).

    If you stick with these you will not have disc issues.
