This is my TV: http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?i...=/images?q=Toshiba+42WH36P&svnum=10&hl=en&lr= I want to know about its high definition capabilities because its has a place in the back to plug in the Xbox 360 Component AV Cables but when I try to changes the visual settings on it I can only use 480p but when I test the others I get a blue screen for 10 seconds and then it changes back to 480p. I felt that the definition has to be able to go higher than that becasue it has the ports for me to plug the HD cables into so why not? I read in the xbox 360 manual something about changing my TV settings to suit but I dont know how to find these settings or what I would changes them to. I really need help!
Doesn't look like it. Just because a tv has component video inputs doesn't mean its HD-Ready. Analog Component Video supports 480i. Digital Component Video supports 480i and 480p (EDTV). Digital HD-Component Video supports 480i, 480p, 720p (HDTV, fast action), and 1080i (HDTV, slow motion) display standards. Ced
