    Hi,

I have a PIONEER DVD-R 104, It was working fine, but now it keeps on ejecting DVD'S and CD's after few seconds when inserted.

The drive sucks the disk, afer few seconds it simply ejects !

by the way i have SAMSUNG CD/RW its the secondary master and the DVD-R is the secondary slave

Any idea why this is happening

    Thanks in advance

you dvddrive can malfunctioned to the motherboard via the ribbon cable, if you have another ccomputer test it with that, if there is a problem still you know you will have to buy a new dvd writer. If it works thats even more bad news, firstly you will need to check the connection and see if they are properly connected. Try opening you computer box and taking the cables out, and insert them after 10 seconds, it worked with my m8 b4 cos it happened to him lol.

    Many Thanks

    Hi Guys !

Thanks for your replies, I tried the DVD in other system, it worked well. Then later i fixed the DVD in my system and it now operates good, Think there was problem with cables connecting the DVD. Now my DVD Works well.

Thanks again for all the replies

    Param
