   How do I get new quicktime pro to see the full length dvd movie in my dvd drive? must I copy it to my windows computer first? which program to copy it so quicktime-pro can see it when I choose "open file"?

   Same exact problem I am having.
   I cant seem to open the DVD in QuickTime Pro 7?

   I wouldn't recommend using quicktime to convert DVD's. I would use PQ DVD, it is a much better proggy.
