Hello, My husband just purchased me a lite on 16x double layer burner drive. which came with nero and power dvd 5.
I recently had lite on cd burner but only did basic backup of my kids cd's so they had a spare. Im not familiar with DVD burning whatso ever. and as I was about to use one function it says that directx could not install 1 file.
okay, I have not yet tried to use this I only installed it last night. my question is... is this software all i will need to do the back up dvd's as well as the encoded ones? if not then what other software do i need to get for this? I would like for it to have full function capabilities. any help is greatly appreaciated.
as this is my first post, I have a feeling I will be needing you all a lot. THANKS

which one is better? .. ANYDVD or is DVD43 the same? I read somewhere that dvd43 was as well as anydvd . or would you recommend just getting the decrypter?

The only thing is anydvd is updated more often then dvd43. I say get dvddecrypter at least to have it before it is gone. What you use to decrypt is completly up to you and depends mostly on what the disks are you want decrypted. Need to look ahead at what you may want decrypted later. Ofcourse give the free ones a go to see what you think. After all they are free.
