Have just had a motorola v171 for xmas (wanted a cheap & simple phone !), went to put my old sim card in & is asking for an 8 didgit "subsidy code" ??? Is this because the phone is locked ? (sorry for sounding dumb !) If so, does anybody have a code ??? Have searched forums & nothing on v171 - can anyone help please ? Thanks
it needs unlocked somehow you could phone your network provider they may give you the code ps i have a moto c975 on 3 which also needs a sub code but i dont have reciepts etc to phone 3 up! any help peeps?
