Ok i've been trying to make burn medal of honor allied assault and mafia, but i've had no luck with any program. I've tried clone cd, nero, and alcohol and none of these work. I have a philips 24x12x40 cd writer.....will it burn these games. I was thinking about getting a new cd-rw drive anyways, what is the best one for the cheapest price?

Grab a LiteON LTR 52x or a MemorexMAX52x (rebagged Litey) and make backups of the latest Safedisc& SecuROM. Just remember what you can backup today, you may not be able to backup tomorrow because Safedisc& SecuROM are always updating their cd protection. You can backup MOA& Mafia, but will need emulation.

You install Alcohol 120% (for instance, Daemon Tools are good as well), run it, click on options 'Emulation --> Enable (...) emulation' and then close the window (do not exit the application), therefore putting it on the system tray.

Now when you run a protected game, which you made an 'non-perfect' backup of, Alcohol will cheat the protection scheme, answering to the game protection checks that everything is right (it's like having a sort of PSX modchip installed, but software).
