Can somebody please try to teach me how to burn a bootable disc using Nero 7...

Tryed to do it on my own, seemed like it worked, the burning was an succsess. But when I tryed to boot from the CD it didn't run just as smooth as it has done bofore when I have installed windows. Suddently I was in the middle of 'DN-DOS' or something simmular....

    Please Help!....

    hi

if your xp cd files are on your hard drive in a folder then the link is for you to get it to a bootable cd!!!

just ignore the part that adds the service pack which is the first part

GO TO NERO BIT for a bootable xp pro cd from files on hd!

    http://www.theeldergeek.com//slipstreamed_xpsp2_cd_nero.htm

just change location info and folder titles to your own, but the howto get a cd bootable is all there!!!

if you need the Microsoft Corporation.img part just pm me with your email! its the bootable bit!

Now I've recived the files, 'BootCatalog' and 'MicrosoftCoporation.img'... To do things as simple as possible I've done it exactly after the 'guide' on the link above. I made an folder named 'XP-BootImage' and copied both the files into it. The new problem appears when I try to browse after the file, I enter the folder but nothings ther. When I change the fileformat from 'Boot-Image-Files (*.IMA)' to 'All files (*.*)' The file of course appears. I Have not tryed to complete the prosses jet.... I'm kind of short on CD's....

Should I try it even if the 'MicrosoftCoporation.img' does not appear as an Boot-Image-file?

    Again thx from EvilSimone
