    Hi all
    I have a big problem and it almost gave me headache.

    OK, I connected the FlashFxp to my xbox and it worked fine. I saw the Folders in the right side of the FlashFxp screen and on the left side was my desktop. Then i tried to open the folders to access my files inside but there was nothing inside!!!! This drive me insane, i don't know why i can see my folders and open them but not the files that are most important. Now i want to back up some file but i cant access them, i ssould say i cant see them it looks like inside the folders are empty???
    Help plz

    never heard of that happening before, but i would check to make sure it didnt lose the connection, when i lose the connection to flash fxp it keeps the folders up there but you can see anything inside. dont know if thats the problem your having but hope it helps. if it still doesnt work try doing it throught IE to ftp files.

    I used crossover cable and the connections are fine. I just cant see the files inside because i already transferred 3 game to the xbox and played very well. I couldn't see the files so on the top i typed E:\games\ and Enter to open the folder and it opened it fine. Then i dropped the Fifa folder from my computer to xbox and played the game. But now i want to back up some other game for EXAMPLE Half-Life2 so i want to drop the file from xbox to my computer but i cant see the file. So i connected directly via Cross-over cable.

    Hmmm, not sure what the problem is. (if your setup isnt like this try it)

    1. in your xbox set IP to static, and address to 192.168.1.200

    2. On computer. in network connections find the connection you use for the xbox. right click it, properties, highlight internet protocal(tcp/ip), and press the properties button.

    Check, the use following IP address. for the address put in 192.168.1.100
    subnt mask 255.255.255.0 and default gateway as 192.168.1.1

    Then in flash enter the proper settings.

    user=xbox, password=xbox, and ip address to 192.168.1.200

    if all that dont work then write back and ill try to think of something else.

    I have noticed this happening with some of the emu's I had so what I did was go into Boxplorer or something similar and find the folder in question, then make a NEW folder named EXACTLY as it shows in the Xbox but I did it in FlashFXP. This made the "missing" folders re-appear for use.

    OH!, ONER'S post made me think of something else. ive had to do this in the past, use a different dash. instead of connecting to EVOX or whatever you use, try an up to date XBMC. in my oppinion xnmc is the best for ftp'ing.

    I havn't try your other option with changing the Ip address etc.. but i'll do that. Then about XBMC i have it on my xbox but i never used it, once i went into it but couldn't figure out how to use it. I'll do that too and post back what is going on.
