Are you using both Norton AntiVirus and AVG? If so, remove one of them (likely AVG).

Yes, your log is clean, but you can fix this line if you want:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KernelFaultCheck] %systemroot%\system32\dumprep 0 -k

Yes, you should remove avg if you have Norton AntiVirus(I guess you have because you have Norton Internet Security). Only one antivirus running at same time. Two or more may cause problems and slow down your computer. Ewido is different, it can be running same time as other firewall and antivirus.

Ok, then no slowdown is excepted :) Well, some antiviruses tend to interfere each other, not all of them. I mean that eg. real-time protection might suffer.

EDIT: You can just make that avg's real-time protection won't start when windows starts. It can be configured in AVG´s options.

yeh thats damm true, a while ago a was using zone alarm internet security and now ive switched to zone alarm pro, one day i decided to install avg free and it was so unstable the comp would crash at every start up so i had to go into safe mode and do start>run>msconfig>choose the start up tab and disble avg from start up.

even though you have 2gb of ram i think you should only keep 1 anti virus client running as -kemisti- said the real time protection does intefear.
