In general, wdowsing is right. However, some do have replaceable videocards. What is the brand and model of your laptop, Palom?

On some Dells, such as the 9300, users have replaced the original videocard with a 7800 gtx go. Someone just put a 6800 go into a Dell Latitude d810. However, usually what you start with is what you get.

If the manufacturer has the same model laptop with several videocard options, then you may be able to get a replacement videocard from the manufacturer.
