Convert from Pal to NTSC

    Hi guys is there any way I can convert a pal version DVD/CD to a NTSC DVD/CD

    Hi sammy004, you can convert from PAL to NTSC or vice versa with Nero prog.,if you dont have Nero you can also use DivxToDVD and where it says Standard, make the change there.

    How can I do this with nero I have nero ultra 6 can I do it with this.

    Ok I just converted the file it was a 3.91 GB and I used divxtoDVD to convert it but the file is now 8.87 why did it get bigger is it suppose to or did I do something wrong?

    r u saying that u had an avi file that converted to over 8gb? usually avi(divx) is used for cmpression most files are 700mb to 1.4gb. most of mine convert to around 3.2gb to 4.7gb. if u have a file that large try running it through shrink after u convert.

    No it's brothers wedding DVD its in PAL version at 3.8GB or something so I just want to know if I convert it to NTSC will it increase in GB's cause mine just went to 8.something

    when i have used divxtodvd on actual dvd files it got massive too! dont know why but never used it again for that

    i use avi2dvd it does main movie only dvd files from whatever to pal or ntsc, a great free powerful app...
