I have a backup of a game I own on my computer in .iso format. I was wondering whether or not I had to convert it to xiso before I ftp'd it to my xbox. Or is that only necessary to do when I'm burning an image for my xbox to read? Thanks.

if you want to play it off the hard drive, leave it in the extracted state and ftp the folder into your 'GAMES' folder on your xbox.

I ftp'd the iso to the games folder on my xbox, but it doesnt show up under games in Avalaunch. Do I need to make the iso and xiso and burn it to a dvd and use dvd2xbox to put it on the hard drive properly?

Also, I have a copy of a PAL game here my friend's stepdad gave me from when he was overseas. If I wanted to put it on my hard drive would I have to patch it and change the Y offset thing for it to play right? I had to do this with a ps2 game one time but I dont have a modchip in my ps2, I was wondering whether or not I could change some settings on my chip in my xbox to play PAL games correctly? Or do I need to find a program that will allow my PC to patch it before I burn it? Thanks.
