Every time i go to my xbox ip addres... 192.168.03 and then type in the pass and login in name which are xbox and xbox i get this error message... "USER xbox 331 Password required for xbox. PASS (hidden) 530 Login incorrect." wut should i do?
yes i do use xbox as pass andlogin but even when the xbox is not connected and try to go to the xbox ip it still even says "PASS (hidden)"
Ok, make sure you xbox is on the evox/unleashx main screen when you try to connect. Also, be sure that the ipaddress is set to automatic (make sure it says "no" to static), if its set to yes or static, then change it to automatic and then save the changes and then restart. check you new ip, write it down, put that in in your ftp client and try to connect again. Just make sure you are on the main screen of the modded dash.
hi i also have the same problem i'm trying to ftp into my xbox through a router but i think i'm getting the ip addresses wrong so i open up cmd promt and typed in ipconfig/all and this is what it said dhcp-yes autoconfiguration-yes ip-192.168.2.100 submask-255.255.255.0 default gateway-192.168.2.1 dhcp server-192.168.2.1 dns server-192.168.1.1 now i don't know what to make of all this so if anyone could help i'd be forever greatful
Read my post and try it... And what are you putting in the ftp client when you try to connect to the xbox?
yes i did that i'm putting in 192.168.0.102 it connects but when i load a game it disconnects any reason why thanx
What do you mean when you say "load a game"? Do you mean, ftping to your xbox? Or do you mean while you are connected via ftp...you put a game in to play, and you get disconnected? If you mean going to play it...then yeah you will get disconnected.
i mean once i'm connected to craxtion i click on rip game from hard drive select were i want to save it to then click next then it says connecting to 192.168.2.102 then it tells me couldn't connect but if i take game out let it load to evox then open craxtion again it says xbox is networked so i'm stuck i got this far modded it now it's how to ftp so i can backup games thanx
its me again yeah i changed the static 2 dhcp bcuz that is the only other option and when i reboot the new ip is 0.0.0.0 and their is know automatic setting for the ip by the way im running unleashx if u wanted 2 kno.
@robidy9 - dhcp = automatic. So when it comes up 0.0.0.0, that means that you are not connected to your network. Make sure all your cords are connected and make sure when you change it to automatic to save and exit and then restart your xbox. @HEAD - Make sure you have the IP correct. You might not have added the connection yet. To do that, when you first get in craxtion, a start menu will pop up, just exit that. Now on the bottom left box, you should see a MAKE NEW CONNECTION. Click that, put in the proper IP and then you should be set once you see that it connects.
