my xbox has been messed up for about 3 weeks now, and i havent come close to fixing it. i have tried slayers autoinstaller, and have tryed the van helsing dvd. i cant ftp to my xbox, cuz everytime i try to connect, it says that the connection was refused. i know my xbox's IP address, and i know it can play games that arent burned. i dont know if its the modchip, or something else. i need to know either another autoinstaller(other than slayers) or i need to know of a game that automatically restores the dashboard, or something along the lines of that. thanks in advance
no, but i know that the connection is good, because when i tryed putting surreal on it, it was working fine. after i deleted the file or whatever, it wouldnt connect. and it wont connect probably because i cant get access to the dashboard. is there any game that i can boot up that will automatically install the files back onto my xbox?
Im having the same problem. I have EvoX 3935 dashboard which works fine but when I try to use the ms dashboard from the menu a black screen comes up reporting this error code 21.... My xbox is modded and I tried replacing msdashboard from backup but it reports the same error. Any suggestions?? P.S I have a xecuter2 mod chip installed.
huskies7 here is a tut that should help you get started http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/xbox_evolution_x.cfm I have not tried it myself due to the fact I do not have a chip. If you can get the evox dash running we should be able to rebuild the c: with files of of slayers. I would suggest getting the latest evox files of of xbins. crozby you did not specify what kind of mod you have. So I will have to guess it is a soft mod. even though you have EvoX 3935 it does not mean that it is the same as me or some one else. People configure them diffrently from diffrent site. I had the same problem with my soft modded box I downloaded evox off of xbins and reinstalled my soft mod and that cured my prob. Good Luck guys and feel free to ask more questions.
I downloaded avalaunch and evox x before I knew what they were and now i cant find them without someone being scared to tell me where they are. Please at least tell me how to make one. And if MS wants to sue me for backing up my son's xbox games well sue this poor factory worker.
ok philmccan, thanks for the help. so ur telling if i can get the dash running, i should be able to run slayers, and then be able to restore the files off of that. thanks. if i still need help wiht it, i will post another reply. thanks everybody for all the help.

please help. i have unleashx installed i tryed to load splintercell my eject button turned red then it restarted.now i have lost my dashboard now have original x box dash. and unleash wont load. all my games show up in memory blocks but i cant play them. what to do.
