Hi I need to change an avi file so I can record it onto a disk and play it in my DVD player, but I am having trouble. I tryed to follow the steps in the other thread but I think I am using Nerovision Express 3.SE and I am having trouble can anyone help me please? Also today I downloaded the new version of nero and when I click the nerostart smart icon on my desktop it says it is version 3.SE, but if I click the saved movie I tried to copy to a disk this morning it says it is Nero Express 6. I am sorry for the trouble but I have just got this and am trying to work it out. Thanks
OK I figured out my programs, for some reason the one on my desktop is nerosmart 3.SE and to get my Nero 6 I go through my startup menu, that is one problem solved but I still need to change my avi file over.
If you already have AVI files then there is no need to convert. Follow guide by alkohol in my sig and you cant go wrong. Good luck.

@ferrette Both Nero Vision 3 & 4 are the same (they're identical), it should be the same process and all. What's the issue(s) you're getting? Let us know what you're trying to transcode and we'll see if there's any answeres to it, alright.
