    Even if it takes more than one DVD-R to copy a DVD-9 source, I would like to know how. I prefer ZERO COMPRESSION because I will not sacrifice any video quality at all particularly when viewed on 65" to 72" projection TVs. COMPRESSION is not an option!!!

    use dual layered discs rather than single layered ones.

    Yeah, DL is your only option. Keep in mind that DL media is much more expensive, though.

    Try DVDFab. It allows you to split a dvd9 into two dvd5's.

    @wbermudez

    I believe CloneDVD2 also has that option, splitting the disks up, but I would also try using AnyDVD and Recode2, movie only, onto a single disk and you will be surprised, even on big screen TV's, flawless!

    I'll try to split it into 2 with these utilities and when the price of DL's go down, I can always transfer them 2 to 1 retaining original quality.

    2nd question: Is there a way to manage the VOB files (without editing the VOB) to create my own split? or does it require editing the ISO?
