application nero recode missing

i have a nero express v.6-31-11 i installed it in my system. now i am looking for application nero recode and its not there. is recode included in that disc or am i suppose to download nero recode to have it. if download is solution, please help me find site to download. is it free or i have to pay?

Try downloading Recode from here, you only need package 2.
http://www.nero.com/nero6/eng/nero-up.php

The latest version of Nero is 6.6.0.18 (thats if you dont own Nero7)

Now you've updated to 6.6.0.18 go to the link I provided and download package 2.

I dont know why you're having trouble, I just went to that link and Nero Recode is there in package 2.

 

With your version being called nero express. I must have been oem. If so recode may not have been part of the package.

Just instaling over the top of your version is just updating what you have and will not put it there. To get it with the 6.6.0.18 version you will need to uninstall your previous version. This may not work with your sn# from the oem you have.

I think I remember nero express had many things not in the package like recode and codecs and other parts if I remember right.

What happens if you just want to download trial version of Recode in package 2

 

It would probably still act like an update. If you dont uninstall the oem first.

 

OK thanks, if you dont already have any form of Nero prog already installed can you download package 2. I ask this because in other threads I have directed people to D/L package 2 so I want to be sure I am offering correct advice.

 

Yeah I would think that is the right info. I never did that to be sure. But would think it is right. I know incd either 3 or 4 of the 4 parts did that way. So it should.

Sorry brattboy. I kinda got tied up in watching Into the Blue.

I know this is not going to be what you want to hear. I think as it seems you have an oem that dont offer recode You will have to uninstall it and see if your sn# will work with the 6.6.0.18 version. If it does you are set. If it dont then you will have to pay to get it. I am going to say it will most likely not with your sn# comeing from nero express.
