i burnt a dvd with all the pictures i have taken with my digital camera till 2003. To give you an idea of whats happening there are 3 folders 2001,2002 and 2003 when i click on 2001 there should be more folders with months,the names of the folders are still there but they have turned into files? I have spent ages looking for a solution for this to get my pics back but noone seems to have an answer. Any suggestions anyone??
Do you mean the folders turned into an unknown file type? Did you compress them? Try to copy one of the folder "files" to your hard drive and see if you can open it.
yes it is an unknown file type and no i didnt compress them. I tried to copy one to my harddrive and it still wont open. Thanks for your help anyway
