    This recorder from aldi don't seem to have any mentions so I'll get the ball rolling with my sixpence worth. Very nice at the price but remote is very weak (batteries checked)Had a high pitched whistling when new but this dissapears soon after start up now. A good start point for a recorder.

    Thanks for the info, but after a second clock failure and such a lousy remote and the servo noise, i opted to return it and opted for a Daewoo dr 2100p, cheaper and seemingly a lot better, the only thing i miss is the usb,
