have you had this problem and how did you get it fixed?
I just bought a new minisd card - sandisk 1gb. I initialized the card per the instructions, dragged and dropped the mp3s into the My_MP3 folder - everything worked. Then the phone broke - the second phone I received yesterday was not able to read the same minisd card - so i had to re-format the card - unfortunately, it never put the 4 folders on the card and ended up getting a third vx9800 today - this phone is able to format the card; add the 4 folders, but when you drag and drop, it can't find the mp3s...
Verizon tech support is worthless...and i'm at a loss...
I also have a pocketpc phone and it is able to see the mp3s and play them fine - this seems to be an issue with the LG only...

First of all make sure they are accual MP3 formated because idems that are'nt the proper format will not show up, but will be there, and / or they'll show up but won't play. Those are mostly the Videos though. That goes for My Pix, My Flix, My Sounds and My MP3's. Most important; on the memory card itself has a little gray slider on one side near the top. That locks and unlocks the card. It could be put into the Reader locked and you won't be able to get anything on it Period. Same if you were to accidently lock it after loading it right before you put it back in the phone. With it locked, it's like the Roach Motel...
