computer unable to recognize sopranos dvd

    I came across a box set of the complete five seasons of the sopranos. I'm trying to make a backup copy but the computer will not read the dvd. It will read any other dvd that I put in there but not this. Any suggestions?

    This is odd, I've never experienced any kind of issue like this before. Do you have an extra DVD-ROM drive? If so, then try to read or rip from there to your hard drive.

    I have a dvd rom in the computer and an external dvd burner/rom. It will not read off of either of them. It will play in a regular dvd player.
