Please can anyone help me. I keep getting internal error failure and I dont know why. I just got a new HD and installed a fresh version but the error is still coming up. You need to update your burners firmware first thing. Its an oem of the pioneer 106d. Get it here http://www.memorex.com/downloads/software/DVR106MR_FW107.EXE Your dma is off for all your devices and needs to be on. I see you are useing nvida drivers. I would uninstall them and use windows default drivers for the controler. The nvida has been known to have poor transfer and be hard to get dma set to on with.

In addition these drivers are a pain in the butt. see this link here - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/3/231433#1304083 there's a poster named kurtp21 who found the fix; i think this was for 'nvidesm' drivers but as far as i remember it's the same difference for 'nvatabus' drivers, ie get rid of the nvidia IDE controllers and install standard microsoft drivers - 4465MB is burning too close to outer edge of discs. If you use DVD Shrink, set target size to 4300MB in Shrink's preferences thus avoiding outer edge and not sacrificing much space - this is what i've found on on your media so far, it wouldn't appear to be very good quality - http://www.digitalfaq.com/media/dvdmedia.htm - see previous comment
