Hi and thanks to everyone who takes the time to respond to my post. I received an IPOD Video for Christmas. I have downloaded some MPEG-4 movies and videos that I can play with QuickTime player on my box, and on my IPOD. I have burned these files to DVD-R with Nero 6 Ultra. My Sony PS2 and my Samsung DVD player will not recognize the MPEG-4 on DVD-R. Is there anyway I can transfer the MPEG-4 to a file type that my PS2 or Samsung will be able to play. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.......G
If you have nero Ultra Edtion then you will have Nero Vision Express. Start Nero Vision Express and choose to make a DVD-Video Next import the AVI (Mpeg4) file into vision express by choosing (add video files) Once it has imported the file clcik next and then you have the oprtunity to make a menu for the DVD or not. Your choice. Keep clicking next and folow the directions then nero vision express will make the Mpeg4 file DVD complient for your standalone player or PS2. If you add the Mpeg4 file and it wont import the file in, then you will have to dowbnload an Mpeg4 codec and install it for Nero to bebale to import it in. You can get the Mpeg4 codec below. http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/divx_3_codec.cfm
Thanks larrylje, I will have a digicam shortly that shoots video in Quicktime format and I too was wondering how to convert it and burn to DVD. I have Nero Ultra now I just need Kodak to put the camera on the market, their new V570. tkboxer
