   When I burn at 16x most of the the time it freezes with 4 minutes left to go. Some of the dvd 's have completed. The disks were all 16x. When I use a 8x dvd there seems to be no problem. Can anyone shed some light on this one.

   and as the other guys quite wisely said, try 4x, or 8x if you do indeed have consistent results at 8x. but 16x, definitely read those 2 links which contain some outrageous claims re 16x movie burning
