    from ripping my hair out. Nero 6 latest updattes, all OK until suddenly i get:

    PMA update failure
    Could not perform end of disc at once
    Burn process failed at 8x

    i've edited out your serial number..

    - make sure to free up more memory prior to ALL dvd work/burning

    - what on earth discs are those ?. i think there's your problem. buy decent blank discs

    - see previous comment

    - try 4x on those 'discs'

    Thanks, I thought I had removed the serial #. The discs are Intenso's, I have literally burned hundreds with no problem whatsoever. Is my ram running low?

    you just gotta keep an eye on memory usage. as to the discs, i used literally 500 crap discs before i started experieincing problems with them. Now i don't use crap or so-so discs

    Thanks for the help, I freed up some memory and slowed it down to 4x, it burned just fine.....

    ok.... but don't overlook the discs, they're one of the most crucial aspects of burning....
