What is the best and most reasonably priced software to burn DVD's? Also, will it be self explanatory when I go to burn a DVD?

I am a big fan of Nero. You can download a free trial version of Nero7 by visiting their website http://www.nero.com

Another great choice is CloneDVD2 and AnyDVD. With these two you can do any movie out there.

    Cheers.

The “Best” is relative to whom you’re asking…. LOL

I personally like the combo AnyDVD/ DVDShrink/ Nero but that’s just one man’s opinion.

this question is getting old fast! It seems that all the newer members eventually ask: [bold]what's the best program out there[/bold] I even asked it wayyyy back in the day! LOL Anyway.... use what works for you! I have plenty of programs that I use and even rotate when the need arises. If one doesn't do it then the other one will! but I found out that DVDFab Express does a great job and it's very simple and easy to use. And you can get all the updates for it as soon as it's out, for freeeeeeeeeeeee! I only use it if the quality of the compression is 80% or better..... if it is less I go with old reliable DVDDecrypter (still king of the rippers!) then use DVDRebuilder Pro with CCE ............. that's the best quality you can get! Ask around, others agree! this is the way I go! I have AnyDVD & CloneDVD, and many others that I hardly use any more!
