I was looking at the xbox skins for unleashX on xbox-skins.net, and i realized that they have a media player on them. I looked through my C and E drive as well as my settings and I can't figure out how to get it to show up. could anyone help me with this? thanks in advance
Yeah I can help, you don't have a media player unless you download one and install it. Check out xbins they have a buttload of programs. Good Luck.
I got that fixed (thanks philmccan), but when I tried changing the skin after installing mplayer, my xbox locked up. UnleashX told me taht there was a problem with the skin and told me not to use it until it was fixed and it reverted to the original skin. I restarted it, and the exbox was frozen. i cant ftp to it anymore. I tried to use a boot CD I had from a working C drive, and that didn't work. I tried to open the HDD from my computer, but it would not read(obviously, since I have a mac). I also tried a evoX that I had working. it also takes about 5 seconds to completely shut down if i open the CD tray, and sometimes the CD tray won't even go back in.(it sounds like the HDD is still spinning) I don't know what I can start with to solve the problem. would I be able to view the files on a windows computer, or is there an easier way to solve this problem? does anyone know where to start?
if you have a pc with windows Xp or windows 98 or higher you can get flash ftp and explore your xbox by linking it up.
