Ive replaced my retail HDD with a larger 120GB one using the XBOX HDD Creator ISO disc. After backing things up and creating the disc I created the new partitions on my new HDD. everything works fine except that now the games will not boot at all. Also I cannot cold boot from any menu and must reset the console manually. I tried twice. Any Ideas? Please Help. Has some setting defaulted and I need to Change again in the new HDD? or EVOX Menu. Im running a EVOX 3965 softmod on a XBOX version 1.6 XBOX. I plopped my retail HDD back in and it runs normal. Maybe I should check all the settings and refer to the new drive.
You should try Xboxhd.v1.9. It worked for me!! But you do need the eeprom.bin Which you can get by running ConfigMagic.
dj right about that try out auto installer deluxe (google it) or slayer auto installer. Slayers doesnt have as many programs that come with it but its a faster download. I personely use both (slayers to format and lock/unlock and AID 2.11 to install everything . Also you should update ur bios.
