    Hi quick question.

Sometimes when I am burning or reading a badly scratched DvD, My DvD Burner isn't recognized by my computer anymore. I have to wait 10 minutes than go to hardware/devices and refresh hardware changes for my Dvd burner to come up again.

The error that comes up is that the Drive F: changed volume or something and than when I goto My COmputer my drive isnt there. THus I have to refresh the devices/hardware at 10 minutes.

I have an I/O Magic 16x Dual Layer Dvd Burner.

I have great cooling so I dont think thats it.

Thanks for all the help. You guyts are great.

The drive is set to Master, and a CD-Rom drive is set to slave. Both on same cable. I set it up right. For some reason it'll disappear and I'll only see the CD-Rom drive.

I'm thinking its a driver problem?

disconnect the cdrom drive as possibility of compatibility problems between the 2 drives
