I back up movie all the time with few errors. However, I was wondering why can't I copy a copy I already made? No matter if I use Nero, Alcohol, DVD Decrypter it always has error towards the end. Can't the image be burned back to my hard drive, then re-burnt to a new disc?

it has been a few titles, such as Four Brothers and 40 Year Old Virgin.Should it work just like backing up a real dvd? I use Sony DVD+Rs.

I tried Nero copy to copy.
Reading image with decrypter, then writing again.
Reading image with alcohol 120, then writing again.
    All three failed.

to make copies of an original dvd i use dvd shrink and decrypter, or any dvd with dvdfab for problem discs.

    yes

in dvdD iso read then iso write, simple as!

i spose it depends if you totally ripped everything out on first rip? but then again reading the copy with the likes of anydvd running in the background should rip it again!?!? or with dvdD...

so it only pionts to degradation in media used, hence my first questions on what is the ID dye info coding on each disc?

cheap media wont last a few months...

and of course scratches and grease fingers on it
