Hi I have installed Nero 7. Dont ask how (its a long story) but I have also ended up with someone installing Nero 6 onto my system too. I uninstalled Nero 6 but then Nero 7 would no longer work ( i assume they share some files which nero 6 deleted?). I then tried to uninstall Nero 7 so I could reinstall it clean, only to get an error come up saying that a 'table' couldnt be found (sorry if this is vague as I didnt write the error down). I tried the repair option only to get the same error. I ended up system restoring back to when they were both on the system which is the position I am at now. however I am experiencing problems in that the covers utility doesnt work, saying that it cannot find the file c:\Program Files\Nero\Nero 7\Nero CoverDesigner\def.dat (Interestingly it still tries to access the Nero 7 Cover designer from within Nero 6) Can anyone help me in how I can get my system back to where I only have 1 version please? I cannot system restore to prior to the second one being installed as system restore was not enabled then. I know its a catalogue of errors and I feel totally stupid so I would appreciate any help someone could give me. Emma

Thanks for the help Nero 6 removed first time Had problems in that the Nero 7 clean tool came up "invalid version of nero" and aborted. However, I tried the 'general clean tool' which partly removed nero 7 and also fixed a couple of registry errors - which then allowed me to reinstall nero 7 over the top of the half installation I had left. So all seems to be working now with just Nero 7 on system. Thanks again Emma
