i heard that mac is coming out with a new operating system in the near future, that its going to be completely different from the current OS, and also heard that they are going to start using intel based systems instead of motorola.

and yes, Apple is coming out with another version of there operating system. They are slowing down to about 1 a year. for awhile they were releasing then like 2 or 3 a year including the bug fixes and stuff like that... And as an update, the first intel based Mac's are out right now. the Macbook Pro and the new iMac G5 are both intel based.
