2gb ram want let me convert any faster than 512ram

    I have 2gb ram and it converts my avi to dvd at the same speed as when I had 512ram. My processor is a AMD Athlon XP 3000+ so thats not it. I am using a freeware from here VSO Divx to DVD. I have used several though and they all are an hour are more, can it be done any faster.

    Sure. Buy a faster CPU, and use faster software.
    Try an Athlon 64X2 4800 overclocked, and Mainconcept.
