I am having major issue with a codec and I have search yahoo and google and d/l so called codec "55" and none of them work... its a movie I play it thru media player (10) and codec issue no sound.. says I need codec 55.. search the net a million things suggest what to d/l I do and still the same issue... the thing is I had this codec 3ivx and for some unknown reason said it expired and I cant use it.. which is odd cause its been on for ages, I got in some pack on a codec site as things wouldnt work download this pack and had this and it worked.... so now some movies wont work without this codec 55 and I cant reinstall this 3ivx as it just keep telling me as soon as I use window media player that its has expired.. and I cant convert and burn movies cause of this stupid codec too... But the odd thing is is that I can watch movies thru VLC medica player and everything fine.. just very odd...why can one media player play the movie no issue but the other has this so called codec issue... is their anyway way I can get this so called codec or what a way to get around this issue... Anyway help would be great as I have no idea what to do.... Cheers
Problem solved... yeah lots of yahoo and google and I found the issue... d/l a XVID pack and it worked YEAH!
