Both of these GPU inventing corporations were very far apart. But now they could get no further apart, ATI is slowly falling behind and NVIDIA is making new chipsets every other year. Also I would like to hear your thoughts on the new NVIDIA 8800.
theyr onto 8 series already.... i thought it would be at least another few months theres no mention of such a card on the nvidia website. but there is a very cool looking dell (now that makes a change) that has 4 512meg 7800 running in quad sli giving a total of 2GIG of video memory which means that these 4 graphics cards have a combined power of more than my whole PC lol. now thats what i call graphics acceleration
They first showed that quad SLI machine at CES 05. The freakin thing was amazing! Making it better I think to stay with NVIDIA because they are always growing and evolving with more technology.
