OK I am learning to backup my dvd's and I was told I would need DVDfab DVD decrypt and DVD Shrink I copied two movies(boondock Saints and Scorpion King) I tried watching them and both of them have this problem of the video goes in and out sorta like when my digital cable goes in and out during a storm. I don't have much knowledge about this so I apologize for not having the correct terminology but any help would be appreciated.

What program did you burn your backup with, as Shrink does not burn it needs the help of another program and DVD FabDecrypter only rips. If you have pixellation on your backups it is usually caused by burning too fast, bad media or firmware not up to date. What is the make and model of your burner, current firmware, what media did you use (brand name) and what speed did you burn at?

Memorex are not the best of media, you would be better off with Verbatim, Sony, Maxell or Fuji. What program did you use to burn, i.e. Nero, Decrypter?????????

Open Decrypter and then go to your tools tab, then drive and capabilities. You will see the make/model and current firmware of your burner, post that. It should look like this
