help with nero log file

    nero wont let me burn dvds, i have a sony drive with the latest firmware. My log is as follows

    DMA on...


    [bold]Plenty[/bold] of memory...


    Try burning at a slower speed. 4x. Maybe it will help.

    i try'd at the lowest nero would go, no luck.

    Update your Nero software to latest version -- ! That may solve your prob.

    It doesn't like the media for some reason.

    Also, there are updates for nero 6.6.0.18

    i dont see why it wouldnt like the media, i was using fujifilm dvd's, i used about 50 before this problem started. It started after i copied one dvd to the harddrive and back to dvd. i will update and see if that works. anyone know what this means?

    who called for the Nero-nator LMAO :)

    - CDRALW2K.SYS is part of Roxio. try uninstalling Roxio (doesn't always play well with Nero), then you might need to fully remove using Roxio Zapper - http://www.microadvantage.net/utilities

    Also, the question marks are saying the ATAPI drivers aren't loaded correctly, fix by following this - http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/FAQ.htm

    still not working, i reinstalled nero and the ATAPI drivers, still no luck and burning coasters.

    alright, i reinstalled nero, atapi drivers again (nero said they were corrupt-work fine now), unintalled roxio and all its registry entries, got the latest firmware and lastly reistalled the actual dvd drive itself, i burned a disc and it worked fine (1 video file) and am burning another full dvd now to test it again. thanks for everyones help.

    seems to be good now, burnt about 5 or 6 without any problems.
