Hi all i have the evolutionx softmod and want to copy data and/or games from disc to the hdd does anyone know how. Im using CD-RW disks on a 2002 model xbox
I have EvoX as well.. from my experience you can't use the cd's like that like burnt cd's at all.. if its not and the game works.. then you will have an APPS choice on your dashboard menu and then you should have a program called DVD2XBOX .. i think it comes with Evox.. you go into that by hitting start and then just hit the drive you want to download your game to .. i think its F drive.. then hit start and you will see a black screen with codes flashing on it and when its done the disk will pop out and you'll go to a menu then reboot and play.. HI im familiar with dvd2xbox got it on my other xbox that has a excuter2 mod. cant find it on evolutionx i will have another look though got any other ideas
I personally prefer pxhddloader ease of use - second to none install, delete, single button layout is better. Although they did improve features on dvd2xbox, pxloader is better (my opinion only for xbox backups dvd2xbox can leave newbs frustrated, especially when they install to the e:\ partition. It got that frustrating getting combacks from people that did, I changed the xml and menu on my installer to warn them
my freind modded mine .. i just got the dvd2xbox with it.. if you dont have it download it.. personally i think its easy.. it doesn't frustrate me at all..i guess just hook your xbox to the comp and copy the dvd2xbox file to the xbox and you should be good.. it was simple for me and nothing seems to be hard but ive never experienced the other stuff DJBOOGIE was talking about so i dont know about his .
