Hi, My question is this : I have a new Sony digital camcorder and movie shaker software for MicroDv. I have a Sony DVD/CD player which displays SVCD movies. Will Version 6 allow me to take my Video, convert and burn to a CD as SVCD? If not I'm will to purchase another product as long as I don't have to download all kinds of plugins and make all kinds of software tweeks. Is this a possability? ; ) Thanks, Sean...
I dunno about Easy CD Cre(a)mater 6.0, but the easier route would be to convert your movies to SVCD, rather than to a cd-r, then SVCD. This is referred to as "transcoding", and you decrease the video quality by doing so. For DVD2SVCD, use a program called DVD2SVCD using CCE (Cinema Craft Encoder). I would need to know the format of the movie you make with your Sony digital camcorder in order to post a guide to convert to SVCD. Shoey
