I know it can be done. For a while, there was a company that was upgrading to 128MB and something like a 1.4 GHZ Celeron. If I remember correctly, there is space on the mobo for two other RAM chips. The people that were upgrading the boxes said something about how ram chips can be on both sides of the breadboard. Either way, it looks complicated to solder it, and I think you need to patch some crap to tell you box that you have 128. The only benefit that I can think of would be for emulators. I realize this doesn't help a whole lot, but it has been a while since I looked it up.
