Ok i'm trying to burn an AVI file onto a dvd with Nero, whenever I add the video file it freezes. It seems that it's just loading but I know it isn't, is it because it's and AVI file? Do I need to convert the file?
i gather you wish to play this avi file in a standalone dvd player, you dont say but i guess i'm assuming a lot as your question was a bit sketchy. Download the application from the link below. http://www.filepedia.com/video_software/dvd-r_tools/vso_divxtodvd_free.cfm load your avi into it and press convert.Your file very shortly will be encoded to an mpeg2 compatible format which nero will be able to see as a file that can be burnt to a dvd and then played in a standalone dvd player
