I just started to use Nero Vision to edit my DVD CamCorder movies. The first thing that it does is to convert my vob files to mpg. All that works fine. When I go to edit movie I am only showing one single frame in the time line in the very beginning. It does show the whole movie if I play it, but editing can be very difficult. I just upgraded to ver 7. Also, is anyone aware of plugins available for Nero Vision? I would like more transitions etc.
Thanks in advance for your help.

You could split the captured file into chapters which would give you splits to work from. Did you get the Nerovision Content? It gives you all kind of templates and extras

I'll try splitting them into chapters but that still won't fix the one single visible frame that contains the whole movie file. I'll look for the NeroVision content that you mentioned. Thanks

Your best bet is to capture several files rather than one large one. That way you can move them around on the time line easier. It makes finding your content quite a bit quicker as well. Edits will become easier as you get used to the software. Having them in seperate smaller files will make the biggest diffrence.

Sounds great but I'm not sure how to do that. (capture several files since I only have 2 VOB files on my disc) I've been using Vegas for my videos but I have audio issues with Vegas. I want to be able to convert, edit and burn. Seems like once I get used to NeroVision I'll be doing just that. I didn't notice an area where I can add chapters. I'll look again tonight. Thanks.

Do you have a capture card in your pc or are you removing the disc from the camera?

I copy my DVD disk to my PC and then convert from there. I am having some major issues with my new updated Nero 7. I'm going to un-install and re-install Nero 6 until they clear up these issues. Too many to even list. It seems that everything that I attempt to do on the new Nero 7 just won't work.
