Put my new PC together tonight and turned it on...All it does is beep every couple seconds. The beep will last about 2 seconds. I get no image on the monitor. I tried 3 different HDs so I can rule that out. All cables are hooked up right AFAIK.

    WTF could the problem be?

    Is the Power Supply working?

Do any lights or fans turn on when you press the power button? If yes, then it's probably your Mainboard or RAM.

If no, check the power supply.

After messing w/the RAm some more the beeping crap is gone, but it still does not boot up.

Well if the fans and everything powerup then remove all un-needed stuff from your computer like PCI cards, DVD/CD-Drives just leave RAM,video card and hard drive. See if that boots you up.

Sounds like the RAM needs re-seating. If you have 2 sticks, just use one & re-seat it. This has been the cause of many boot up failures. My Epox board (2nd PC) is very RAM sensitive. If I even just look at the RAM, it will not boot up!

I get nothing with or without RAM installed.

The beeping stopped a while ago. It was for the RAm, but I reseated it and no more beeps, but I still get NOTHING when I power it up with or without RAM
