    Hello
I have a AMD Athlon Xp 3000 cpu with ATI 9800 AIW Pro 128 ram video card all drivers are up to date.
I have all the settings set to max in the catalyst control center but still when i play high def files i get skipped frames. I have found that VLC player is good for playing hd encoded quicktime files but it can't handle wmv hd files. Is there some setting that i have missed? According to all the HD specs i have seen my computer should be more than equipped to handle playback of these files.

Any info would be appreciated thank you.
