I am attempting to install a new Brother MFC-210C Colour Multifunction Center (printer/fax/scanner).

I am still using Win98 SE.

I get 99% thru the installation process and then get the following Add Printer error message which advises that the installation cannot continue:

"Windows cannot find any installed ports"

I had an earlier problem with a missing DLL file that couldn't locate the USB connection, but I downloaded the missing file, which allowed me to continue to the point that I am now stuck.

    No help from Brother.

Appreciate any thoughts. And yes, I know should uprade to XP. New computer is in the works.

    Thanks
