i want to no if divx formatt can work on most dvd players and dvd players that dont support mp3 and vcd playback.
I'm no expert but I was under the impression that at this time there are only one or two dvd players that support divx. So I would say no.
Kiss have released a later firmware (2.6.6) which enables playback of DivX3.11. You can get multi region from www.jasperfish.co.uk
If you have a divx compatible player, burn it as data with nero! Your only other options are to encode to vcd/svcd http://www.afterdawn.com/articles
but if you do encode it than there is really no need to have a player that supports divx you just need one that supports vcd which is most of them
Ye thats exactly what i said, if it plays divx then burn as data, if not encode vcd/svcd. I would love it if my stanjdalone could play divx but for now its re-encoding to dvd for me too ah well, give it a couple of years and it will be stardard in standalones!
