    can u backup a cd, install and then play from it like an original copy? or do u need emulators or other stuff to make them work?

    If you're backing up a CD that was meant to be used on your PC originally, then absolutely yes.

    Depends if the cd your backing up has protectionon it. What are you attempting to backup?

    basically as i said in my other question, when my mates lend my games and vice versa i lend them backups, i hate lending originals as i like to keep them in mint condition

    It's still piracy m8. Edit your post and say something in reguards to making backups of cd's.
