Unexpected turn offs(PLZ HELP!!!!)

    well i cant understand why this is hapening, i even reinstaling windows xp.

    now and again it just turns off,the thing is my windows reinstlation does not format all it does is reinstall windows where as others wipe everything and reinstall.

    i have 1 idea what may be causing this,thats the fact that i have acidently instaled 2 operating systems on here,i think this has messed me up.

    but then aggain it could be a virus or something similar(even though ive reisntaled windows)i dont realy know but i need to get this sorted.

    In the end i think ill just format the whole thing but that is if there is no way of finding out whats wrong...


    please help as this is quite anoying!

    erase hard drive and do clean install of windows.......how many gb is hard drive .double left click on my computer.it will show drives there.right click ans hit open there should only be one folder that says windows if there is 2 delete one .relpy back

    im going to format and install xp,thanks for the replies though.

    ive made the format floppy and ill run the utility soon.

    in the end it was a bad psu, i had to buy a new case as mine was a non standard part.

    anyway its sorted now and btw its ok to have 2 o/s as xp can dual boot.
